HCRE draws from trauma-informed care, restorative practices, intersectionality, and related practices which are critical to the well-being and success of our foster youth. Lifting up strengths, HCRE challenges systems that create inequality and disconnection from opportunity by prioritizing preventative action, healing, relationship, and connection. We are thrilled to lend HCRE's expertise to ZOOM Transitional Housing in support of the incredible youth it serves!
Provides vital support to Executive Directors across several key areas:

Foster Greatness (FG) focuses on building strong support networks through mentorship, education, and life skills training. By connecting foster youth with supportive adults and peers, Foster Greatness helps them overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their goals.
ZOOM has partnered with FG to ensure every foster youth can achieve their full potential and lead a fulfilling life.

The Student Advocacy Center of Michigan collaborates with underserved students and their families to support them in staying in school, exercising their rights to a quality public education, and achieving personal growth and success.
Residents of ZOOM Transitional Housing will have the opportunity to connect with mentors from the Student Advocacy Center for educational planning, mentorship, and assistance in finding and applying for available scholarships.

The SMCC represents businesses across 11 communities and serves 500,000 residents. They offer exceptional networking opportunities, impactful business development programs, and exclusive member benefits.
